From San Francisco to San Diego
We started our trip at the San Francisco airport, not knowing we’d face delays.
Flight Delayed:
Our Air India flight from Mumbai to Sanfrancisco got delayed and we reached SFO at 7.40 pm, hence we missed our United Airways next flight to San Diego scheduled at 7.06 pm. So we were booked on next day flight to san diego at 10.53 am.
The airline staff helped us out offering Hotel accommodation alongwith meal coupons.
Hotel Stay: United Airways sent us to Hotel Sonesta es Suites. It was a cozy place in San Francisco. We rested for the night.
Breakfast: Next day We had a great breakfast at the hotel, enjoying the bay view and departed to airport by shuttle service at 8.45 am.
More Delays: Our morning flight scheduled at 10.53 am was canceled, and we were rescheduled for a 4:30 PM flight. There was a chance for an earlier flight at 2:23 PM, which too got delayed and finally we boarded flight at 3.00. pm.
We arrived in San Diego at 4:30 PM, Where Rohan, Sameer, and Upasna greeted us happily.
Reflection: The delays taught us that travel is more than just getting to a place; it’s about the experiences and people we meet along the way.
